Cute small rooms and a wonderful bakery downstairs. Very clean looking. Also has a wonderful ambiance in the shared spaces - fireplace in the lobby and nice patio furniture outside. The only small drawback is it's in a busy area so it's not dark or super quiet at night/early morning. We still got a good night's sleep though.

What warm and professional staff members. It’s impressive when a hotel in a vintage building manages to have trendy but comfortable decor that really works. I can’t emphasize enough, though, that the staff cares, and is fairly happy. You FEEL it, it’s not forced unlike many hotels I’ve been to. In particular I noticed Danielle warmly greeting the two housekeepers she passes, and them smiling back. She also displayed a really natural attention to detail with ease. It’s just so clear that she and the other staff are truly taking care of the hotel and the people that stay there.

What a great hotel! The staff were awesome, giving us tips on parking on the street or for free in a nearby garage, and offering umbrellas for the rain. There is a small bar in the lobby and an attached restaurant (separate business called The Shuckery), and a bakery with sandwiches. Many restaurants, bars, and shops within the surrounding blocks. The only negative was a shower that didn't drain well. This place was built in 1923. The room was very modern. Loved Petaluma!

Came for a couple of days and was impressed. I was greeted by amicable staff and appreciated the ambiance of the outdoor and indoor decor. Lobby has gratuitous coffee and tea. Hotel has a quaint feel to it but has been modernized from the bathroom (light mirrors) to the room itself. Coffee machine and fridge is available. Flat-screen tv also on the wall. Plenty of lights for the room. The water pressure in the shower is fairly low and the pillows are extra soft which may be a problem for some (like myself). These are firm mattresses. Traffic noise was not too loud but ear plugs are on the nightstand in case. The conference room was cozy (up to twelve people) and allows to host meetings with a TV to connect a presentation. Also has its own bathroom. Very walkable around the historic downtown. Free street parking available on the east side, fountain entrance, until granted a parking pass to a nearby parking garage. The hotel is also connected to the a restaurant for easy access.

Check-in lady was completely apathetic. Room was extremely noisy, the hotel has single pane windows. Room furnishings were kept to the bare minimum. The bathroom had one small shelf, which was directly above the toilet. The toilet had no lid, which we have never encountered in a hotel. The lobby is very nice, but that's it.

Loved staying at the hotel! It was quaint and just beautiful. Enjoyed the wine bar attached to the hotel and the free parking at a garage nearby. I didn’t try the restaurant onsite but it seemed like a popular place. I would DEFINITELY stay here again
